Sandbarz is located in the heart of Carolina Beach’s historic Boardwalk with the great surfing right across the way.

SandBarz carries a unique selection of surf brands, clothing, skate supplies and more. You’ll find well-known brands, like Cobian, Ocean Minded, and Sanuk for sandals. Other brands in the shop include HIC, WRV, Old Guys Rule, Aztec Rose, Matix, Aaron Chang, Ezekiel, MCD, On A Mission, Electric, Von Zipper, Costa Del Mar, Smith, Anarchy, Angel, Body Glove and many more.

You’ll find a variety of surfboards at SandBarz — from 5′ 11″ fish models to 11′ tankers — plus leashes, wetsuits, booties, wax and sunscreen. 

We carry the popular 9 Fish boards as well as SOD boards by local shaper Shawn O’Donnell. 

Need fins? We carry a large variety of performance fins including FCS and Future Fins. Whatever your surfing needs might be, we have something for you. 

If it is bodyboarding you crave, we carry a variety of bodyboards including the new Wave Skater!

Carolina Beach is now home to our very own skate park located at Mike Chappell Park off Dow Rd and Sandbarz has everything you will need to get started. 

We carry decks by Baker, Element, Flip, Zoo York, Black Label, Zero and many more as well as trucks and wheels to finish your custom board.
